Prat That Phanom is the most sacred site in the Northeast. The pagoda, originally built around 535 BC, was revered by both Laotians and Thais, but it collapsed in 1975. The new pagoda is 53.60 meters high and 12.33 meters wide. The top is mounted with 110 kg of solid gold.
