| In March 2003 members of the Laotian Community of Ypsilanti visited us to seek assistance from BRM. Ven. Sunthorn, the Lao monk from Ban Na Pho Refugee Camp, now in Canada, has initiated a project to donate copies of the Tipitaka, Buddhist Canon, to libraries around the United States, for the public benefit. The first stage of this project will include local libraries in Fresno, CA, Ann Arbor/Ypsilanti, MI, and Charlotte, NC, with expansion to other communities which have sizable Lao populations. Sadhu!
