The Ordination of Ven. Dhammapalo, a.k.a. Terry Jennings
Today, on May 12, 2021, as the Upajjhya (preceptor) I presided over the Bkikkhu ordination ceremony for one of my students, Samanera Dhammapala with two Phrakammavacaras and six other monks at Wat Promkunaram in Waddel, near Phoenix, Arizona. My special thanks to Venerable Phravidesprommakun, the Abbot of Wat Promkunaram for allowing us to use the ordination hall to ordain former Samanera Dhammapala as a fully-ordained monk in the Buddhasasana. Thanks to all the monks who took part in the ceremony without whom we would not have been able to complete the ordination.

Congratulations to our newly ordained Phra Dhammapalo (Dhammapalo Bhikkhu). On behalf of both our Wat Buddhametta monastics and laypeople community, we welcome you as our newly ordained monk at Wat Buddhametta. May all the blessings be with you and may you grow in the Dhamma. May all benefit from your merit and blessings.
