Lily's Birthday at the Home for the Elders |

| For her birthday, Lily wanted to offer a meal to the twenty men at a home for elders in Ampitiya. Her friend, who lives nearby, told her that the men needed new longyis, so Lily found a great deal at a local clothes shop. The men were very grateful. Several gave speeches thanking her for the meal and her gifts. They sang “Happy Birthday” and gave her a big round of applause. It was a great day! The home is also very pleasant–airy, spacious, and green. |  |
